What can I say about Fi? Well, this to start with: Fi was my rock, my lover, my best friend, my psychiatrist, my business partner, my crew, my helmswoman, my lock keeper, my courdon bleu chef, my carer, the one I cared for through in sickness and in health, my housekeeper, my boat keeper, my son's mother, my inspiration, my blogger, my historian, my resource, my correspondent ... oh, and wasn't I the lucky one? - she was my wife. Fi demonstrated “the fruit of the Spirit .... love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.” She was a Christian with a unique faith and a unique way of living it.
